About Us

On the Camino de Santiago

Camino de Santiago in summer of 2013. We hiked 300 km from León to Santiago, Spain.

Jason is a recent PhD in acoustics, and Daisy is in her final year of study for her PhD in statistics.  We met in 2011 and have been finding adventures on foot and on bicycle ever since.  The name ‘Philtron’ is a blend of our unmarried names ‘Phillips’ and ‘Bostron’.  Our next big adventure is cycling the spine of the Americas from Alaska to Argentina starting May 11, 2014.

      Thank you!
We don’t plan to write a book, but the thought has crossed our minds. By the time you put together all of the posts that will be on this blog, I think it could be e-book worthy, at least. :)
